Android's Top 5 Food Delivery Apps in the US: Q2 2024 Snapshot

As the second quarter of 2024 wraps up, we've analyzed the Android platform performance of the top food delivery services in the United States. Sensor Tower provides insights into the trends of these mobile applications, and here's what the data tells us about user engagement and downloads during this period.

Foodora - Food & Groceries experienced a peak in downloads, reaching 5K in late April, with a slight fluctuation thereafter, settling around 3.7K by the end of June. Weekly active users started strong at 60K and showed a general declining trend, dipping to 58K towards the end of the quarter.

Wolt Delivery: Food and more saw its downloads fluctuate, hitting a high of 4.8K mid-April before gradually dropping to 3.3K by late June. The weekly active users mirrored this pattern, peaking at 56.5K and declining to 54K over the quarter.

The companion app for couriers, Wolt Courier Partner, had downloads that ranged from a few hundred per week, with a notable peak of 396 in mid-June. Active users showed more consistency, starting at around 13K and slightly decreasing to just under 13K by the quarter's end.

Glovo: Food Delivery and More recorded the least number of downloads among the top apps, starting at 97 and ending the quarter with a surge to 165. Weekly active users followed a modest upward trend, starting at 721 and ending at 855.

Lastly, Uber Eats: Food Delivery showed a low download count, beginning at 64 and reaching 101 by the end of June. Active users remained fairly stable, hovering around 2.2K throughout the quarter.
